A few years back I attempted to clean my PC screen by using baby wipes and that was a big mistake. Some solution in the baby wipes caused the screen to have a lot of hard to remove streaks, so I found out that it is good to use Rubbing Alcohol which has no actual effects, but just makes it nice and clean.
Be sure to just dampen the cotton when applying the rubbing alcohol and then wipe as needed. I usually wipe not only my screen but the entire hardware surface of the PC.
